Section II ( Reasoning)
This section comprised questions from Reasoning and Data Sufficiency. The reasoning questions were of average level of difficulty which comprised around 10 questions from critical reasoning, 10questions from analytical reasoning, and 5 from logical reasoning. Some questions were based on evidence & support, hypothesis etc. The data sufficiency questions were based on quantitative aptitude and were quite easy.
Ideally one could attempt 22 - 25 questions in 30 minutes.
Section III ( Quantitative Aptitude)
About 10-12 questions were based on higher mathematics (Maxima & Minima, Complex numbers, Matrices, Trigonometry, and Integration). There were quiet a few questions on Modern math (Probability, Functions, Progressions, Seq. & Series). Few questions were based on work, ratio & proportion, numbers, co-ordinate geometry, etc, which were also lengthy and time consuming. In all this was the toughest of all the sections.
Ideally one could attempt 13-15 questions in 30 minutes.
Section IV ( DI & DS)
The questions were of easy to average level of difficulty. Though the graphs/tables were complicated/large, the data could be easily culled.
Ideally one could attempt 20 questions in 30 minutes
Overall Cutoff:
Candidates who obtain an overall score of 70 + can expect a call from all IITs and those with a score of 60 + can expect a call from at least one.
