This is the toughest part of MCA Entrance test. Almost, every MCA entrance test has math upto +2 level. In some of the exams conducted by DU, Roorkee University, JNU etc, it is even higher than that. To tackle this part, you should have a sound knowledge of all the fundamentals of mathematics, shortcut techniques to solve the questions, and good practice of the course. While doing the test you should take care of the following tips:
- Always keep a cool head.
- Take a good night's sleep before going for the actual test.
- Read the directions carefully before starting the paper.
- Always scan the paper first, before you start.
- Some questions may be lengthy. Avoid those questions in the first run. Leave those questions to attempt later on.
- Do not get stuck on the tough questions. This may waste your precious time
- Use PoE (Process of elimination) techniques to solve the questions. This may save your precious time.
- Solve as many questions as you can from the options.
- Use shortcut techniques wherever possible.
- Speed and accuracy should go together.
- Avoid paper work .Do mental calculations fast.
