Eligibility
A candidate seeking admission to MCA Course should be a Graduate of any UGC/ AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or institute recognized by the concerned University as equivalent thereto. The Bachelor's degree must be of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as compulsory or an additional subject at either Higher

Secondary (10+2) or at Graduation Level.
Exam Pattern
The test shall have only one question paper containing questions from the subjects Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science and Logical & Numerical ability as per the prescribed syllabus. The question paper will contain 100 questions of 3 marks each. Duration of the paper will be 2 hrs. 15 minutes, out of which the first 15 minutes are allotted for making the entries in the OMR answer sheet and for inspecting the question booklet for any printing or binding errors etc.
Exam Syllabus
ALGEBRA Solution of simultaneous equations. Binomial theorem. logarithmic and exponential series, Determinants and its properties. Matrices, addition and multiplication of matrices, computation of inverse of matrix.

CO-ORDINATE GEOMETRY Circle, Tangent, orthogonal circles, coaxial system of circles, parabola, ellipse and hperbola, their equations in standard form and simple properties.

DIFFERENTIAL AND Differentiation of algebraic, exponential and

INTEGRAL CALCULUS logarithmic functions, application to simple problems, maxima and minima, partial differentiation of function of two variables. Integration by parts, definite integrals and their properties, area, volume and surfaces (of simple curves), Trapezoidal rule, Simpson's rule.

DIFFERENTIAL AND Linear differential equations of first order,

DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS Dirrerence equations of first order.

STATISTICS Theory of Probability, averages, dispersion and standard deviation, Coefficient of variation, skewness and do-efficient of skewness coefficient of correlation, interpolation, index numbers their importance, time series, fitting of curves,, Method of least squares, binomial Poisson and Normal distributions.

COMPUTER SCIENCE Basic concepts of computer organization, number systems, Elementary programming in Basic.

LOGICAL AND NUMERICAL Simple questions to test numerical, analytical and

ABILITY logical abilities of the candidate.
