DIFFRENTIAL AND INTEGRAL CALCULUS
Diffrentiation of algebric,exponenetial and logarithmic functions Application to simple problems, maxima and minima, partial diffrentiation of funtion of two variables, integration of function by parts,definite integrals and their properties,Area, Volume and surfaces (of simple curves), Trapeziodal rule,Simpson's rule.
DIFFRENTIAL AND DIFFRENCE EQUATION
Linear diffrential equations of first order,difference equation of first order.
STATISTICS
Theory of Probability,averages,disperson and standard deviation ,coefficient of variation, skewness, coefficient of skewness, coefficient of correlation.Interpolation, index numbers their importance,timeseries,fitting of curvesMethod of least squares,Binomial,poission and normal distributions.
COMPUTER SCIENCE
Basic concepts of computer organisation, Number systems.Elementry programming in Basic.
LOGICAL AND NUMERICAL ABILITY
Simple questions to test numerical,analytical and logical ability of thecandidate.
